The graphics and game play looks freaking great, but I agree that not being able to smash up your car and see the damage is a bit of a let-down.

Realistic Physical and Mechanical Damage for "Premium" Cars must be Unlocked by reaching A-Spec or B-Spec Lvl-30, "Standard" Cars have Damage but not anything you can call "realistic".....& I agree, that is a let down :(
However (Damage aside) there is huge potential in GT5 for Drifting as there are some really cool and rare cars that can be converted to Drift.For example, I have a 80's Volvo 240 Wagon & 60's VW Samababus that I have tricked out to Drift ;)
